Hey babes! So I've been craving something extra sweet lately... And if you're anything like me, nothing satisfies your sweet tooth quite like cookie dough. Soo I decided to get creative and make - yep you guessed it - cookie dough cupcakes! These bad boys don't go to the stomach, they go to the heart. Enjoyyyy!

Lets get started, shall we?!
First, we make the cupcakes!
Here's what you'll need...

Cupcake Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cocoa powder
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup + 2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line cupcake tins in the cupcake trays. Set aside.
Mix all ingredients together until you have a smooth consistency. You can also add more cocoa powder if you want a richer chocolatey flavor!
After you finish mixing, pour cupcake mix into the cupcake tins, filling each tin about 3/4 full. Place in oven.
As the cupcakes bake, you can make the cookie dough frosting!

Frosting ingredients:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
5 tablespoons butter, softened
2/3 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup flour
3 cups powdered sugar (feel free to put more for desired consistency)
2/3 cup mini chocolate chips (or more if you just love chocolate chips)
First, combine cream cheese and butter in a large bowl.
Then add the sugar, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream and beat until combined.
Add the milk, flour, and powdered sugar to the mix and continue to blend.
If needed, you can add more powder sugar add/or heavy whipping cream to the mix until you have reached the desired consistency. I like my cookie dough frosting a little thicker because it better resembles cookie dough. But, lets face it, you can't go wrong. It's going to taste amazing either way!
Stir in chocolate chips.
I like to set the bowl in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes; it chills and thickens the frosting to give it that fresh cookie dough taste!
Frost away, lovelies, and enjoy!

Have an extra one for me ;)
Stay Sweet,
